The opening round of NBL action commences on Thursday with the traditional double-header, featuring the New Zealand Breakers hosting the Brisbane Bullets and last seasons runners-up the Adelaide 36ers playing the Perth Wildcats in Adelaide.
“Whilst it is early days we will be using last seasons data to give us an indication as to what the markets should look like.” NBL analyst Max Martin writes.
“We do not get caught up too much with the pre-season matches although Mika Vukona playing against his old side in a Game 1 match-up in Auckland is titillating to say the least.”
NZ 1.4 v BRI 3.0 (6)
Both sides have very different looks to last season and this could go either way. Last Season the Breakers won the series 3-1 with an average winning margin of 7 points. They look well priced at 1.53 and -4.5 and are worth a bet for the punters keen to get betting on the NBL.
ADL 1.5 v PER 2.75 (5)
Again, both rosters look different with a lot of positivity surrounding the Wildcats. They struggled last season with the Sixers losing the Series 4-2 and struggled to fire in Adelaide. The Sixers also look over the odds and worth a punt at 1.77 and -1.5.
We will post updates for future matches on Thursday and Friday.
