Preview: No betting action as yet, which is surprising after the MRP decision yesterday the Tigers could have been expected to shorten in a point or two with their good fortune.
The weather has been predicted to fine up which will suit the Crows.
We have the best side of the season versus the defensive manic run of the Tigers in front of a huge crowd at the MCG.
The Price Ratings have the Crows over the odds at 1.70 versus their price of 1.58 and that’s the way we will be playing the 2017 GF.
More to come……
Update (Final) – Finally some money for the favourites with the Crows 1.70 into 1.68 forcing the Tigers out to 2.25 from 2.20. The weather looks like being OK with a bit of wind about but as we witnessed last week it just swirls around at the G. We are convinced that the Crows will have too much firepower for the Tigers and can outscore their opponents.
Our confidence levels are not as high as the Bulldogs last year but the Crows will win and cover the spread.
Norm Smith Medal looks to have a lot of value attached to it. Brownlow Medallists in GF have not got a great record so we are risking Dusty. Cotchin could get a tag so will Sloane so we will avoid them. Ruckmen rarely win so Jacobs looks under the odds. Rebounding defenders do go well so Rance and Lever get a start.
Midfielders tend to dominate but the Crouch brothers do not stand out but umpires do not decide the Medal so Matt has to go in as his record against the Tigers is super. If the Tigers are to win Rioli will have to star so he goes in as a saver.
